Dr. Raina is a board certified Pediatric Neurologist with fellowship training in clinical neurophysiology. His interests are common epilepsy syndromes and refractory epilepsy. In addition to epilepsy, Dr. Raina specializes in headaches, concussion, autism, and developmental disorders. He's working on developing a concussion unit in this area , in collaboration with local schools and colleges.
When asked why he chose a career in pediatric medicine, he says, "The idea of caring for a sick child, and being able to improve that child's life, is very gratifying. Being a parent has given me a perspective like no other. The first step in making a difference is a successful relationship with patients and their families. You want a doctor who's on your side, no matter what the circumstance."
Dr. Raina's practice philosophy is "seeing each case through the eyes of my patient. You are treating a person, not just special features of a disease process..." "Dr. Raina offers, with his love and experience, a comforting hand and an unassuming ear that exemplifies the doctor patient relationship."
We invite you to meet him in person to discuss your child's specific needs.
